Traditional gum recession surgery, known as gum grafting, is effective but can require lengthy periods of downtime and several sessions when multiple sites are affected. This is not the case with PST™. Dr. Nichols simply creates an opening in the gum tissue above or below the affected tooth and uses a special dental tool to loosen the connective tissue. Your gum tissue is then gently glided over your tooth, into a more desirable position.
